Diamond Head - 27/0/09 Ven's account

ROAD TRIP!!!! yaaaaaaaaaay! yup me and Bella where hyper as hell getting ready to go on our little trip to see a band, that band of course being Diamond Head!

4+ hours in the car we had to do to get to Stourbridge with Stu and John but we had a right giggle going down there. ended up getting to the hotel by sometime after 2pm.. i think, it might have been 3 lol

all booked in we ate then started to get ready for the night of course me and Bella had to put the warpaint on (makeup of course! ) while drinking some lovely voddy and red bull niiiice

I think we where just a little tipsy before we got to the venue, just a little

we gots to the venue, was a place called the River Rooms but we where a little early and you wouldn't believe who came bouncing out... Eddie Moohan! he bounced over as soon as he seen us and gave me and Bella a hug EDDIE IS AWESOME! asked him where theres some pubs and we went off looking for one cos it was gonna be a while.

we couldnt find one quick so we went back to the venue and we heard the sweet sweet sounds of music and a voice that makes Ven's knees weak coming from the venue..... the band was soundchecking and we couldHEAR it

we then saw a big window.... a window where you could see right onto the stage so we ran up and started pressing our faces up to the window hehehehe I think we kinda put them off just a little Brian was ROFL at us Karl couldn't drum for wanting to look up to see what the hell Brian was laughing at, Nick just could not sing for giggling and Eddie tripped over his own feet to see what the hell was going on!

we kept shouting 'hurry up we want to get drunk!' and it kept making Brian roar with laughter we are soooooooo evil lmao

when we finally got in we got chatting to some of the band (as you do ) I got a hug off Nick and we sent the boys for some drinks while we claimed our spot infront of the stage after being ORDERED by Eddie to be there.... like I would be anywhere else

OMG we where sooooo drunk hehehe. what can I say about the band apart from OMFG!!!!!! they where awesome played sooooo may of my faves from the classic To the Devil His Due to my fave over all Skin on Skin *sigh* I love that song we had such a blast and so did the lads from Karl kinda missing his place while drumming to Eddie trying to store his bass in Bella's norks lmfao have a look of some awesome piccys-

what a night the band had a few drinks with us, some which we got them OMFG Nick can bloody put Sambuca away almost as well as me and Bella he better not come on a proper drinking session with us hehehehe should see the after show pics-

when we had to go there was hugs all round, lots of hugs *big deep sigh* and a snog for Bella! lucky cow lmao

back to the hotel to crash for the night but the journey back was a FUCKING NIGHTMARE over an hour stuck stationary on a motorway just cos some daft cunt rolled his van, oh well.
